  • Seasoning cube,
  • Salt and vegetable oil.


  1. Add fonio flour into a clean bowl, add corn flour, margarine, eggs and sugar.
  2. Mix dough until it is smooth, set aside and allow to sit for 5 mins.
  3. In a clean frying pan add vegetable oil, add onion, stir fry for 1 min then you add fresh tomatoes, stir fry, add bell pepper, seasoning cubes, salt and paprika.
  4. Allow to cook for about 3 mins and then you add your mushrooms and keep stirring until the mushroom turns brown and your veggies are ready.
  5. For your fonio roll dough, add fonio flour into a clean pan, add corn flour, margarine , sugar, and eggs. Using your hands, make sure to mix your dry ingredients together until all ingredients are well mixed.
  6. Add a little water and make your dough smooth and bouncy.
  7. Allow dough to sit for 5 mins, cut out, roll properly using a rolling pin and then fill in your veggie, roll, cut, roll in crumbs and deep fry until it turns pale brown.
